Dr. Christina is a proud graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS), where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic with an
emphasis in Sports Medicine.
In December of 2023, Dr. Christina became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®), specializing in Sports Medicine and training in Emergency Procedures. Doctor Christina also is certified in Fascial Manipulation 1a and 1b.
Throughout graduate school, she interned at several different healthcare
institutions including: UC Irvine, OC Rescue Mission, and the Tactical Sports
Medicine Clinic at SCUHS. Over the years, Dr. Christina has learned valuable skills, such as myofascial (soft tissue) release techniques, how to improve on her
diagnostic skills, and how to better treat any patient that may walk into her office.
Graduating in 2022, Dr. Christina believes that she is most up to date on all of the latest techniques, treatment methods, and rehabilitation strategies necessary to help my patients perform at their best.
During her undergraduate studies California State University, Long Beach
(CSULB), Dr. Christina worked with the Division I Men’s and Women’s basketball
teams, as well as worked alongside the many Athletic Trainers at CSULB. While
working towards her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, also as a Personal
Trainer, and Physical Therapy Aid. These experiences helped elevate her skills in
soft tissue manipulation and functional rehabilitation exercises. Dr. Christina is a
former athlete, that played a variety of different sports, ranging from soccer and
volleyball as a child, to basketball for many years, until she graduated from
college in 2019. She knew from an early age that working in Sports Medicine was
what she was meant to do. “Knowing that I am able to help athletes come back
from injuries, or simply just maintain a healthy lifestyle, is the most rewarding part
of working in this field.” Throughout her career, the goal is to treat athletes of all
ages, regardless of their sport or activity level while being a vital resource in their
health maintenance.
